Vaccinations:

Before puppies go home at 8 weeks of age, they twill have begun their 5-way series (Nobiac DAPPv) at 6 and 8 weeks. You will need to get them their 3 & 4 round of Dappv at 10, 12 & 14 weeks of age, then a rabies shot.

Deworming with Pyrantel and Safeguard, will also have been done by us at 2,4,6 & 8 weeks of age.

Do not take your puppy to public places until they have received all their vaccinations.

Potty Training

Our puppies 1st begin on potty pads. Then as they get older they graduate to using doggy doors. Upon coming home to you and their new surroundings, they will need to learn your accommodations. Give them a small washable area (laundry room, kitchen or bathroom) of confinement 1st, when you are unable to watch them. Nearly every 2 hours you will need to take your puppy outdoors. Go with them so they do not feel as if they’re in trouble. Remind him or her to Potty Shortly after waking, eating or playing.

Feeding:

I feed a good quality dog food with no by products and good vitamins in it . I feed all my puppies free choice, that is always leave food out for them, on a puppy if you only feed a few times a day they will gobble it up in a hurry then throw it back up. They only eat a few kibbles at a time then go play and come back and eat a little more, all day long.

Sleep:

Puppies play hard for a period then they need to have a safe quiet place to sleep. They will sleep a lot at first. Just like a baby.

Blue & Isabella Colors:

Blues and Isabella’s are a dilute gene, There is a possibility that they can have skin issues, thinning hair or food allergies. They require more attention to their diet and soaps. Just something to consider before adopting that color. I feed them a grain free dog food.
